     Katherine awoke with a start to the phone ringing on the bedstand. "Dr. Hannigan," she managed to mumble. Listening to the voice on the other end, she nodded to herself, "I'll be waiting," she said, and hung up. Another body found, which meant another long day of being on her feet at the morgue. She sighed, getting up as her body complained, especially her legs.  
     The permanent scar tissue that resided deep in her legs would forever be a reminder of the accident from an investigation three years ago. She fully realized that she would encounter pe Mountain Moon Part I

Getting Back Into the Swing of Things

So, Fall has arrived. My birthday came and went this weekend, and with good news. It seems my writing partner is ready to pick up where we left off on writing a book together. I'm so very excited. I think once we start on the book again, it will lead to writing other short stories, poems, etc. I'm taking what I can get at this point, and doing what I can to get the creative energy flowing.
